Rich’s plan to restore the chassis and body of 1296 here at the CPR shop in Santa Ana is never going to happen in a shop crammed full with 20 years of accumulated stuff. On the right is Rich’s high school car. It’s not really the actual car but an identical twin. On the left is the sidelined Ute project that will donate it’s frame to 1296. Above is just stuff, tires, tools etc. Its all too good to throw away, but you know the drill… So as in nature, Rich must build his nest before he can lay his eggs or in this case restore 1296. He has already started and should have the shop ready by the end of July. Follow along and we’ll see if he makes it.
